School Days: episode 10 “Mind and Body” 心と体
Wow, I thought it was pretty insane how many things happened this episode. It seems like every major character got some form of development, and things are starting to come crashing down.
Kotonoha’s obviously the one who causes the greatest concern, as the knives shot seems to heavily imply that she could be going down a violent path. She didn’t lash out at Sekai though, and seems more occupied with Setsuna, but since Setsuna appears to have left for France, chances are low anything bad will happen there. I can, however, imagine that she’ll go crazy on Otome if she ever sees the video of the lounge or catches Makoto with her.
As for Setsuna herself, I can understand why she offered herself to Makoto if he promised to break up with Otome, but she can’t have reasonably believed that he’d actually do so unless she was there hounding him every step of the way. For that matter, it’s unclear whether Makoto actually slept with Setsuna, and I’m reminded of that one Setsuna ending to the game where she returns to Japan and declares herself the wife. I’d say that’s still within the realm of possibility.
To be honest though, I really can’t figure out what kind of ending they’re going for, and the drama and suspense they’ve built up is part of what I love about this. Next week’s episode title is 「みんなの誠」 (Minna no Makoto - Everyone’s Makoto) which is the title of one of the harem endings of the game. However, with Kotonoha looking about ready to kill someone, I’m not so sure it’ll be like that. Maybe it means that Kotonoha will chop Makoto up so that everyone can have a piece.

This rly is a mindblowing series, not your average joe anime, hopefully they’ll kill of Makoto so then i can sleep well at night.
One ep closer to the epic ending. Let’s hope it’ll be a good one.
well ep 11 does say everyone’s makoto…so the blog speculation might be what is to be expected =X
“You sure do sleep around a lot” …lmao how true that is for Makoto. This ep made me think “Oh Sh**!” a couple of times, lol. Makoto got game now.
I totally thought the part when Sekai and Kotonaha met up after all that, I totally thought she was gonna slash Sekai, I was TOTALLY WAITING FOR IT. And I think the meaning of next week’s ep is “Everyone slept around like Makoto” or possibly “Everyone is going to sleep around like Makoto”. Its just my opinion though.

Poor Kotonoha, I mean she was so sweet and now with those eyes, all I can think is “When she’s going to start killing people!? I was so afraid when she met Sekai in the bridge, I believe that in any second she’s gonna pull out the knife and… Well that still can happen!
The bloody ending is coming!!! Makoto prepare yourself!
I hope the ending is different from the game really..

kotonoha is the one who’s probably gonna kill itou rather than sekai…but then again if that happens we won’t be expecting a possible next season! =O (summer days)

wow epic episode this series is so great! i can see kotonaha going a bit phycho and chopping eveyone to bits, except setsuna who escaped. i cant wait untill she finds out about otome. it will be the push that send her over the edge. roll on the next episode!!

Personally, Makoto should be killed…
He has hurt Kotonoha too much, he should have just broke up with her in the first place when he didnt feel anything for her. Sekai is doing well with him, and you cant blame him for Setsuna as she is leaving.
If he comes out and tells Sekai about him sleeping around with Kato, Sekai will understand as she done the same thing when Makoto was going out with Kotonoha, so it evens it out. Maybe a threesome?
I think the creators of this anime will surprise us all with an ending that will make us forget about the game entirely.

i cannot wait for the next episode. anyone got an estimate for the next episode upload? and yeah mokoto is so dead. thought i wouldn’t rule out katsura commiting suicide. that girl looks pretty unhinged to me. wouln’t want to be mokoto when she gets her hands on him!

There isnt much talk of Kato going on here, that leader of the school council is fine just getting some quick action from Makoto. Even he says its a thrill because its fun.
Though what girl is fine with just sex if she loves him???
Kato is a complete mystery. It’s clear though that she wanted makoto for sex becauase she wasn’t seen by makoto as a girl way back elementary (well of course that’s how things are with kids) and she had a big crush on him way back then. So…well to make it short, she’s come to that stage… (the horny stage I mean =P)
hahahahaha…so right, she’s so ma “L” (horny).
I wish they would again release the ONA version of school days..

Ive got the game playing and its going great, even though I can hardly understand them Im trying to get Makoto with Sekai. She is the best one for him.
But in the Anime why doesnt the bastard just shag everything out of her while he has the chance. Bollocks to Kato, just have the world

@Kenzakii: that’s just how the story goes. because its patterned almost just like its original game version. =) i too am sad on the turn of events. remember the shattering glass in the 1st episode? that’s actually a representation of it all. oh well…
hmmm another point made by this episode is that we find out why Setsuna keeps on looking at the back row towards sekai and itou during classes when sekai and itou seem to be having conversations in the first few episodes.
ahhh….hours to go before episode 11 in Japan, maybe tomorrow for the RAWS for me. hehehe.
oh yeah, I feel chaos in tomorrow’s events here. hehehehehe. nvm this anyway. =P

If thats the case then why did Setsuna volunteer to swap seats with Sekai. If Setsuna really likes Makoto then why didnt she jump at the chance to be sat next to him?
@stan well, it might be because she loves Sekai so much she’s willing to give Itou to him. Also, it maybe because Setsuna might not have realized she likes Itou at that point (It became evident only in ep 9 right? Or was that 8? The one with the goodbye kiss-sleeping-Makoto issue). She keeps on looking at the back row towards Sekai and Itou because she’s wants to make sure that Sekai gets the right man as she would be leaving soon (as we all know)…err…I think our little Setsuna has just made the biggest mistake of her life leaving Sekai in the hands of Itou =/

same!! after watching the last episode… i came across to this blog.. my mind was so unclear about a lot of things especially the last scene of the episode.. after reading this line “I hope you all learned a valuable lesson from this” that really planted into my head… now it seems that I can’t go to sleep because of the bloody scene.. i was also expecting that the ending would be nice.. but in the end… i did not expect that this would happened… (taking a deep breath) i will.. in fact never forget this anime…

I think Setsuna is the best. Too bad she had to leave. Well, it’s actually a good thing, because she doesn’t deserve the problems to come.
